Hi all, It's 11pm here and Adam left for training in New York almost 48 hrs. Ago.....well 44hrs to be exact!! I'm as pathetic as it gets... I feel like he has been gone for soo much longer!! I have to get used to it he is going to be gone for three weeks. James and I have been so spoiled having him home for the last year and a half, well not home but you know not deployed overseas. He actually hasn't been away from us for more than a day or so at a time. Now that Addie is here it makes things so much harder when he's away.
The last few weeks have been full of firsts. Addison is changing so much everyday. I took her to her 4month well baby visit and she is 15lbs 6oz and 25in long. She rolled over from stomach to back on her 4month birthday. She now kinda scoots when she is laying on her back. She looks like a frog trying to jump but is stuck on its back. A few days ago I came in from the kitchen and she wasn't where I put her on the play mat a few minuets before. Scared the crap out of me until I saw her a few feet from her play mat on the carpet cooing at the tv!! She has also discovered her feet. She lays on her back, grabs her toes and rocks from side to side on her round little bum...soooo cute, I love it!
James is counting down the days till school starts. He can't wait to go back. He is going to bible school this week, he loves it. He is going to go to start going to AWANAs in september. I feel bad I haven't taken him to church more. I want him to get the same religious foundation I got as a child. Anyway, Exciting news: James got his first BMX first place win this past sunday. I'm so proud of him! Adam said "I was going crazy" when James took first. James is following in his daddy's footsteps...it's in his blood to race bikes. I was exhausted and unfortunately I didn't go on sunday. So no pics:( I will put some from other recent races.
I feel like I'm writing one of those family updates people put in christmas cards!!
